About Us
Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) provides high-quality mental health care for patients of all ages, offering comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other complex mental health needs.
Founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate, expert psychiatric care, PNS has roots extending more than 30 years into pioneering psychiatric research. Since 2006, the organization has expanded that commitment, growing into one of Southern California’s largest outpatient psychiatric groups.
In 2024, ATP Clinical Research joined PNS, with Dr. Gustavo Alva becoming Medical Director of Clinical Research. This expansion strengthened PNS’s research capabilities and established it as one of the largest community-based psychiatric research programs in the country.
Today, PNS continues to be a trusted provider of mental health care throughout Southern California, with more than 60 full-time providers, over 200 clinical trials, and eight locations across the region.
