Medical Director – OB-GYN (Remote, U.S.)
This is a 12 month temporary contract

We need 1 full-time, temporary OB/GYN Medical Director (up to 12 months)
We are seeking an experienced and board-certified Medical Director with a background in OB-GYN to join our client who is a Federal Contractor. This role involves clinical oversight, quality reviews, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical management programs
- Review potential quality concerns and assess appropriateness of care
- Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with providers and stakeholders
- Participate in clinical committee meetings and develop corrective action plans when needed
- Support and guide nursing and non-clinical teams on complex clinical issues
- Apply data analysis to drive quality improvement across provider networks
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with current, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board Certification in OB-GYN
- 5+ years of clinical medical practice experience
- Experience with managed care, utilization management, or quality improvement strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA, URAC, and healthcare compliance standards
Hours of work
- 8-10 hours per weekday in Preferred time-zone
- 2-3 hours on alternate weekends in Preferred time-zone
