Kennedy Bond are partnering with a growing healthcare organization delivering virtual care to patients with obesity and related cardiometabolic conditions. This role represents an opportunity to join a technology-enabled clinical team focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fully remote environment.
The lead Medical Director will play a foundational role in delivering this growing team's AI-driven clinical care model. You will work closely with the CMO and VP, Clinical Operations with your main focus being building the clinical infrastructure that enables the team to deliver exceptional, standardized care at scale through the use of AI augmentation.
This role requires deep clinical expertise in obesity, a passion for management and leadership, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast paced start up environment. You must also be forward thinking and excited about the use of AI.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a telemedicine patient panel with a focus on obesity and cardiometabolic conditions, providing individualized, evidence-based care
- Prescribing and monitoring GLP-1 receptor agonists and other cardiometabolic pharmacotherapies with expertise and clinical judgment
- Building strong, trusting patient relationships through empathetic communication and a compassionate virtual bedside manner
- Embracing and actively utilizing AI-powered clinical tools for documentation, decision support, and patient engagement
In order to apply, please ensure you match the below requirements:
- MD, board certified in Obesity Medicine
- Active medical licensure in a minimum of 10 US states - 30+ state preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in telemedicine clinical practice
- Familiarity with and enthusiasm for AI tools and technology-driven clinical practice
- Experience in start-up or telemedicine environment
- Prior leadership experience
