For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director MPO to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $174,070 – $374,920 annually
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise to ensure high quality, constituent-focused medical care
- Conduct transactional reviews to support appeal processes
- Review clinical claims and determine covered benefits for Medicare and Commercial environments
- Participate in workgroups to identify improvement opportunities in health care services
- Use data analysis to discover quality improvement opportunities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical and payment policy
- Collaborate with diverse health delivery professionals to meet business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the health care delivery system
- Active state medical license without encumbrances
- M.D. or D.O. with board certification in an ABMS specialty
- Post-graduate direct patient care experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
