Most research collaborations in women's health take years to materialize but this company is already fielding inbound interest from the research community, and they're not even a year into their commercial journey. Their MVP, a clinician-facing diagnostic platform in women's hormonal health, trained on a large proprietary clinical dataset (patent pending) sits at the intersection of longevity, hormonal health, and clinical decision support. It's B2B: insights reach patients through their clinicians, not directly. Embark On Talent is supporting this science-backed women's health biotech to find someone who can take that momentum and run with it.

Active research collaborations are already in place with academic medical centers and leading fertility networks across the US, exploring how the platform's predictions connect to a range of longer-term health outcomes, including cardiovascular and fertility health. For health systems and payers, published research is the prerequisite to the kind of seven and eight-figure contracts that represent the company's largest long-term commercial opportunity, and the partnerships already in place are laying those foundations.

Right now, those collaborations need an owner. Someone who can manage them properly, keep them moving, and use them as a springboard for what comes next, including getting prospective research off the ground.

What the role involves:

Building new research collaborations with investigators, clinicians, and academics at health systems and academic medical centers, using your existing network to open doors that move the science forward
Taking ownership of the compliance and administrative requirements that keep existing partnerships on track, including IRB processes and BAAs
Helping shape the company's growing research narrative into something compelling for investors, health systems, and payers
Serving as a genuine strategic partner to the founding team on research direction and scientific positioning

What we're looking for:

Someone with a credible, established presence in clinical research, whether that's as a physician researcher (OB-GYN, REI, or longevity-focused clinician), an academic investigator, or a research scientist in an adjacent field such as cardiology or bioinformatics. What matters most is the depth and reach of your existing relationships, not the specific specialty you've built them in
A track record of initiating research collaborations, not just participating in them. You've opened doors, not just walked through them
Solid working knowledge of research governance: IRBs, BAAs, and the realities of running retrospective and prospective studies across institutions
The commercial instinct to understand why research evidence is the direct path to health system and payer revenue
