Medical Director - Immediate Care Clinic

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Medical Director to lead our newly restructured Immediate Care Clinic in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to join a revitalized organization and play a key role in shaping its clinical excellence, operational success, and future growth.
As Medical Director, you will provide both clinical leadership and administrative oversight, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while helping to establish best practices, protocols, and standards for the organization. The clinic is anticipated to begin operations with a soft opening, and we are currently accepting applications for immediate hire.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Board Certification in one of the following specialties:
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Demonstrated leadership, management, and clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership and oversight of clinic operations and patient care services
- Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and quality assurance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership and management teams on strategic planning and operational initiatives
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and patient satisfaction
- Support provider recruitment, mentorship, and professional development
- Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Perform clinical duties as mutually agreed upon with executive leadership
