For our client, we are seeking a Community Medical Director -Mostly Remote- Rochester NY to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $193,000 – $387,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide the clinical Community Team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians for patient care
- Manage relationships with Market GM and Senior Medical Officer
- Analyze local and national health policy impacts
- Identify opportunities to improve community healthcare outcomes
- Build relationships with external healthcare facilities
- Float within the community physician role as needed
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
- Current and valid state medical license
- 5+ years managing an interdisciplinary team
- 5+ years community physician experience in geriatric care
- 3+ years managing P&L responsibilities
- Geriatric and palliative care certifications preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
