For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director/Senior Medical Director - Dermatology to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This remote leadership role will provide medical direction for dermatology-focused clinical development programs and help ensure studies are conducted with strong scientific rigor and regulatory compliance. The position partners closely with clinical operations, safety, and study teams to guide medical decision-making, review patient safety data, and support study execution across the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will also contribute to investigator and sponsor interactions, helping advance trial knowledge sharing and patient-focused outcomes.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $210,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight of clinical trials while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Attend and present at investigator and sponsor meetings to support knowledge sharing
- Conduct medical review and analysis of serious adverse events and safety reports
- Monitor safety variables and evaluate changes in patient medical status
- Consult with cross-functional teams on medical questions and study procedures
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent required; active medical licensure preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant specialty or sub-specialty
- 1-2 years of clinical trial experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment preferred
- 2 years of direct experience in safety/pharmacovigilance is a plus
- Strong therapeutic expertise and communication skills
