They will be responsible for meeting the medical information needs of external customers and internal business partners as it relates to the company’s products. He/she will contribute to the development of high-quality Medical Information deliverables within the team and will be a visible member of the department by collaborating cross-functionally to meet Medical Affairs objectives. This includes but is not limited to:

• Utilize clinical and scientific expertise to respond to medical information inquiries from health care professionals, patient/consumers, field staff, internal business partners and other customers

• Monitor scientific literature for potential adverse event reports; report findings to Product Safety within established timeframes

• Contribute to the development and revision of standard medical responses, AMCP dossiers, Q & A documents and other medical information resources

• Ensure the scientific information is consistent with product labeling

• Assist with and contribute to other Medical Communications and Medical Affairs activities

• Development and regular update of high-quality internal and external medical resources for assigned therapeutic areas and assets (including but not limited to MSL slide decks, advisory board materials, internal training and other scientific exchange resources)

• Ensure development of scientific content is relevant, accurate, and aligns with the Medical Communications strategy

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deliverables

• Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on latest publications to integrate new information into existing resources

• Participate in medical meetings and advisory boards to gather insights and contribute to the development of scientific content

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Advanced degree in medical and/or scientific field required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or MS, etc…)

• 2-4 years of medical writing or content development experience required

• At least 2 years of experience in a medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry preferred

• Solid understanding of oncology therapeutic area required

• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently

• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific literature, and incorporate data in existing and new medical resources

• Veeva Vault experience is preferred
