We are looking for a skilled physician to join our innovative biotech as a Medical Director in their Clinical Development team. Our client is a growing Oncology biotech who have multiple early-phase solid tumor therapies and some big pharma partnerships. This position would report into the Vice President Clinical Development!
This position would be looking for time on-site in their Nyc office.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as medical lead for clinical trials, overseeing patient safety, protocol adherence, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on protocol design, development plans, and regulatory submissions.
- Review patient eligibility, adverse events, and safety data; advise on risk mitigation.
- Act as primary medical contact for investigators, sites, and CROs.
- Contribute to data review, medical writing, and regulatory interactions.
- Stay current with oncology literature and therapeutic trends.
Qualifications
- MD
- 3+ years in clinical development within biotech or pharma.
- Must have Oncology experience
- Experience with early-phase (I/II) and biomarker-driven studies.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical trial design, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; thrives in fast-paced biotech settings.
