Contract Medical Monitor - Oncology
Location: USA
Contract Length: 12 months
Capacity: 0.5-0.75 FTE
We are supporting a clinical research organisation with the appointment of an experienced Medical Monitor to support ongoing oncology studies on a part-time contract basis.
This is a strong opportunity for a physician with solid oncology clinical research experience who is looking for a flexible engagement with a well-established organisation delivering high-quality support across clinical development programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical monitoring support for oncology clinical trials
- Review protocol eligibility, safety data, and ongoing patient information
- Support medical and scientific oversight throughout study delivery
- Act as a key medical contact for study teams, investigators, and sponsors
- Contribute to safety review, data interpretation, and protocol-related guidance
- Support review of adverse events, serious adverse events, and other medical data
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, and project teams
Requirements:
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Strong oncology experience within clinical research
- Prior experience working as a Medical Monitor, Study Physician, or similar role
- Good understanding of clinical trial conduct, patient safety, and protocol review
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a remote contract setting
- Board certification is not required
