For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director Medical Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $227,600 – $385,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Review cases electronically against medical policy criteria and determine medical necessity
- Advise multidisciplinary teams on high-risk cases during team meetings
- Participate in the development of protocols and guidelines for consistency in reviews
- Manage or participate in projects requiring physician expertise
- Complete reviews and compose clear rationales for member and provider notifications
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- 5 years in clinical direct patient care required
- Board Certification in a recognized specialty required
- Active medical state licensure required
- 1 year in medical management preferred
