For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director - Southeast to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This role will serve as a key scientific field leader, building trusted relationships with external experts and healthcare professionals across the Southeast region. The Associate Director will provide compliant medical and scientific exchange, support education and advisory efforts, and partner with internal teams to advance strategic field and clinical objectives. This position also plays an important role in identifying potential clinical trial sites and investigators while representing the company with credibility and integrity.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $156,000 – $250,800 annually
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in relevant therapeutic areas and the company’s products
- Engage in scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs compliantly
- Serve as a trusted resource, providing accurate medical information to stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality medical and scientific presentations to various audiences
- Provide scientific and medical support for training and advisory activities
- Document field activities accurately and in a compliant manner
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to evaluate potential trial sites and investigators
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in life sciences or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs or MSL role in pharma/biotech
- Strong understanding of sleep medicine and associated therapeutic areas preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to build relationships with KOLs and internal stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial design and regulatory requirements
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently
