Brown & Brown Absence Services Group provides expertise and capabilities to disability insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and third-party administrators to help them overcome challenges, make better business decisions, and reduce risk. We also assist individuals in applying for and obtaining Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). Role Description

This is a 1099 contract remote role for a Board-Certified Physician for Disability Peer Reviews. The physician will be responsible for reviewing medical files, providing informed opinions, preparing clear and concise reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and standards. The role includes analyzing medical records, offering expert opinions on medical findings, and collaborating effectively with other team members. Note that this is not an expert witness related opportunity. We provide training, QA review and assistance with IT set-up. This is part-time opportunity usually averaging 10 hrs or less a month.

Qualifications

Active board certification in a recognized medical specialty (ABMS, AOA, ABIM, ABPN)
Experience in medical file review and report preparation
Actively practicing in a clinical setting at least part-time hours
Been in practice within specialty for minimum of 5 years
