About the job

Requirements:

5 - 10 years of experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Prior experience operating with basic technology in a telehealth role (1+ years)
Licensed in any combination of states that cover at least 40% of the US adult population (inc. 2 of the 4 big states: California, Texas, Florida, and New York)
Deep primary care experience with internal and family medicine physicians only
US medical schools and training only
Technically-savvy (including familiarity with our tooling, e.g., Zendesk, Athena, Slack, Nabla, Zoom) with a desire to use technology and AI in novel applications
Non-negotiable to be based in the US (given complex labour laws)
Strong mission alignment and genuine interest for telehealth care and AI

Practice Model

Platforms: Athena (EMR) • Zoom (video) • Zendesk (chat) • Slack (team) • Nabla (scribe AI)
Visit Types: Synchronous video (20-min appointments, max 9 per 4-hr block) and asynchronous triage/chat (3-hr response window).
Shifts: 4–6 hour blocks (Mon–Fri, 7 AM–7 PM MT; weekend/evening expansion underway). Non-clinical tasks handled by operations.
Scope: Adult medicine only. No pediatrics, advanced psychiatry, or controlled substances.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality adult primary care via video and asynchronous (chat/triage) telemedicine — 36 clinical hours per week.
Care for a diverse patient population including Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.
Collaborate with our subspecialist network across medical and surgical disciplines.
Leverage AI-enhanced workflows (Nabla scribe AI, automated routing, integrated clinical notes) to maximize clinical decision-making time.
Help build clinical guidelines, quality standards, and operational processes as an early team member.
