For our client, we are seeking a REMOTE - Vice President Medical Director Of Clinical Programs to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Drive the development and delivery of evidence-based clinical programs
- Achieve clinical outcomes and affordability goals with Health Plan leadership
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and manage clinical appeals
- Provide clinical insight for tailored interventions based on data analysis
- Identify opportunities to enhance quality and competitive advantage
- Oversee Utilization Management processes for optimal service delivery
- Collaborate with various health plan teams to align medical and operational functions
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from accredited medical school
- Board Certification in relevant discipline or specialty
- 10+ years of experience including clinical practice and leadership roles
- HMO/Managed Care experience with Utilization and Quality Program management
- Government sector experience preferred (Medicare, Medicaid, or Military/Tricare products)
- Strong skills in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and analytics
