For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director - Midland States to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This remote leadership role will provide medical oversight across clinical programs, utilization management, and quality initiatives supporting members and providers in the Midland states region. The position partners closely with medical management teams, network providers, and facilities to help ensure timely, clinically sound decisions and effective care coordination. It is well suited for a physician leader who can combine direct patient care expertise with practical program leadership and strong clinical judgment in a large healthcare organization.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $174,070 – $374,920 annually
Responsibilities
- Oversee medical policy implementation
- Develop and evaluate clinical and medical programs
- Support Medical Management staff to ensure timely responses to members and providers
- Manage utilization review and quality assurance efforts
- Provide clinical expertise for case management as needed
- Serve as a liaison to network providers and facilities
- Direct medical management programs and clinical team activities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a health care delivery system
- Active medical license in the specified states without encumbrances
- M.D. or D.O. with board certification in an ABMS or AOA-recognized specialty
- Post-graduate direct patient care experience
