For our client, we are seeking a Vaccines Field Medical, Director, MD to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This remote field medical leadership role will focus on engaging external healthcare stakeholders with scientifically rigorous, approved medical information in the vaccines area. The position will partner closely with internal medical, commercial, and cross-functional teams to shape external education, support stakeholder decision-making, and strengthen relationships across the healthcare ecosystem. It is also responsible for translating medical strategy into field execution while maintaining deep therapeutic expertise and credibility in the marketplace.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $230,900 – $384,800 annually
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the medical strategy for external stakeholders
- Maintain knowledge of the therapeutic area and the company's products
- Serve as a resource for medical information and insights
- Educate external stakeholders on gaps in patient care
- Deliver approved medical content to support stakeholder decision-making
- Lead collaborations with healthcare associations and medical stakeholders
- Manage patient advocacy group communications
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in vaccines recognized by peers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment
- Experience in managing care, payer relations, or the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities
