Responsibilities:

Provide medical leadership, setting the strategic direction and vision for clinical operations and patient care.
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Oversee the development and implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, promoting continuous quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practices.
Lead and engage the medical staff, cultivating a collaborative and productive environment that supports professional growth and development.
Develop strong relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and communication.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in medical research, technology, and treatment modalities, and incorporate best practices into clinical operations.
Collaborate with the Quality Improvement team to analyze clinical outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Participate in peer review processes, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and guidelines.
Serve as a liaison between the medical staff, administration, and other departments, fostering effective communication and problem-solving.
Provide clinical guidance and consultation to support clinical decision-making and complex patient cases.
Represent the organization in professional forums, conferences, and external partnerships to promote Medrina's reputation and influence in the healthcare community.

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Current board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
Valid and unrestricted state medical license and in good standing.
Proven experience in a leadership role, such as Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer, or similar, preferably within a healthcare organization.
Strong clinical expertise and a track record of delivering exceptional patient care.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse medical staff.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and collaborate across departments.
