About the Role
We’re looking for Emergency Medicine MDs/DOs to join our expert community and contribute to projects focused on evaluating and improving medical AI systems.
In this role, you will apply your expertise in acute care, stabilization, and rapid diagnostic reasoning to review clinical scenarios, assess model-generated answers, and help ensure that AI systems are accurate, safe, and clinically useful in high-stakes environments. This is a strong fit for physicians who are decisive, detail-oriented, and excited about applying their frontline expertise to the future of AI.
What You’ll Do
- Review clinical prompts, trauma scenarios, and AI-generated emergency medicine responses.
- Assess outputs for medical accuracy, safety, completeness, and the quality of triage/stabilization reasoning.
- Help define criteria for strong clinical answers in acute care settings.
- Identify incorrect, unsafe, vague, or missing information that could impact patient safety in an ER context.
- Support the development of benchmarks, evaluations, and training data for medical AI.
- Bring expert judgment to projects at the intersection of emergency medicine and frontier AI.
Who We’re Looking For
- MD or DO with a background in Emergency Medicine.
- Active clinical license preferred.
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to evaluate risk-stratification and acute interventions.
- Clear, concise written communication.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting.
- Interest in AI, healthcare innovation, or model evaluation is a plus.
- Board-Certified
Nice to Have
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Experience in high-volume EDs, trauma centers, or urgent care settings.
- Prior experience with clinical review, chart review, medical writing, or quality improvement (QI) projects.
- Experience evaluating structured clinical work or providing detailed expert feedback on medical protocols.
