We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Medical Review to join a dynamic cross-functional team supporting promotional and medical review activities within the pharmaceutical industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical affairs professional with strong scientific expertise and promotional review experience to play a strategic role partnering with Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and Medical Affairs stakeholders.

Position Overview
The Sr. Manager, Medical Review will serve as the lead Medical Reviewer for designated therapeutic areas, ensuring promotional and non-promotional materials are medically accurate, scientifically balanced, and aligned with medical strategy and compliance standards.
This role will collaborate closely with internal partners to provide proactive scientific guidance on brand concepts, campaigns, and promotional content throughout the material review process.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Medical in the Material Review Process to ensure medical, clinical, and scientific accuracy, objectivity, and relevance
- Electronically review promotional and non-promotional materials and provide medical/scientific feedback and approval
- Serve as the lead Medical Reviewer and signatory for promotional materials within the assigned therapeutic area
- Attend and contribute to cross-functional review meetings with Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, Ethics, and Medical Affairs teams
- Provide proactive scientific guidance for brand campaigns and promotional concepts early in development to improve efficiency and alignment
- Partner with Medical Affairs Directors to ensure materials align with overall medical strategy and tactics
- Support development and review of additional Medical Affairs materials and initiatives as needed
- Maintain current knowledge of disease pathophysiology, diagnostics, treatment approaches, competitive landscape, and patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Advanced health science degree required (PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Review role
- 1–5 years of experience within clinical practice, academia, pharmaceuticals, regulatory/scientific review, Medical Affairs, Medical Information, or MSL environments
- Strong understanding of promotional and non-promotional review processes
- Excellent scientific communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively partnering cross-functionally in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Immunology and/or Gastroenterology therapeutic areas
- Prior Medical Affairs or Medical Communications experience
- Previous experience serving as a Regulatory or Medical Reviewer for promotional materials
