For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director (ortho/total Joint) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $174,070 – $374,920 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead utilization review and quality assurance processes
- Direct case management activities
- Support Medical Management staff with member and provider inquiries
- Provide clinical expertise in medical management programs
- Act as liaison between clinical teams and network providers
- Conduct predetermination and claim determination reviews
Qualifications
- 2+ years in Health Care Delivery System (Clinical Practice/Health Care Industry)
- Active and current state medical license without encumbrances
- M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in Orthopedic specialty
- Post-graduate direct patient care experience in orthopedics
