Raphael Care OS is an AI-powered logistics coordination platform that embeds directly into clinical workflows (Epic, eClinicalWorks, MDLand) to close the gap between prescribed and delivered care. We’re starting with non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and expanding across the full SDOH stack.
We have a working MVP, EHR integration in progress, a founder with deep expertise, and a team that includes a former Epic senior engineer and a former head of global product management at Microsoft Research – Health Solutions Group with deep venture capital and angel investment experience. Institutional conversations are already taking place.
We’re not hiring a researcher or a validator. We’re hiring a physician who can walk into a CMO’s office, tell a credible story about why this platform matters, and own the relationship from first contact through a completed pilot, working closely with engineering and leadership.
Responsibilities
• Set up and run meetings with hospital admins, CMOs, PE-backed practices, and specialty clinics (GI, ASC, dialysis, oncology)
• Lead the pitch—you're the clinical face; we provide the deck, the data, and the follow-through infrastructure and support you will need to be successful; you ‘own’ being our customer face.
• Own the pipeline from first contact through to pilot launch
• ~10 hours/week to start; grows with traction (this can be discussed 1:1 based on availability)
Qualifications
• MD with a commercial instinct and an existing network in healthcare administration or specialty practice.
• Specialty preference: internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, or surgical specialties with high ASC volume (ortho, GI, ophthalmology)—these have the transport-risk caseloads.
• Existing relationships with hospital systems, ASCs, Medicaid MCOs, FQHCs, or ACOs serving Medicaid populations is a strong plus.
• Articulate, entrepreneurial, and genuinely motivated by the SDOH thesis—this is not just a ‘CV line’ opportunity
• California, New York, or Massachusetts strongly preferred (Tier 1); Washington, Oregon, or North Carolina also considered (Tier 2). State-based network, empathy/soft skills, tenacity, and mission orientation are the core assets we are hiring for — not generic clinical experience.
If this sounds more compelling and meaningful than your average advisory or AI training engagement where you get paid per hour/task completed and you want to be the face of something that can significantly improve healthcare outcomes, with a big upside based on your commitment to accelerate ourpath to success. Compensation: base-level retainer + success fee. Equity will be offered based on performance. I’d love to set up a 15-minute intro video conference with you and the CEO/founder.
