- Medical Director, Virtual IOP/PHP (Part-Time, Multi-State)ForwardCare runs virtual intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for mental health and co-occurring conditions. We're expanding into new states and looking for a psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director on a part-time basis.
What you'd do:
- Provide clinical oversight of our IOP/PHP programs and the clinicians running them
- Review and co-sign intake evaluations and clinical documentation
- Oversee medication management
- Weigh in on admission criteria, clinical policy, and quality standards as we scale
- Licensure This role requires active licensure in multiple states. Our priority states are:California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Carolina, Vermont, and Wyoming.You don't need all of them. Tell us what you hold. We'll support and pay for adding licenses in the states we're targeting.
What we're looking for:
MD/DO, board certified in psychiatry
- Prior IOP/PHP or behavioral health leadership experience
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup where process is still being built
- DEA and EPCS in place
